7A Urban Footprint
From the street, 7a urban footprint is a choreographed composition of exposed structural steel columns and lintels, textured walls and the low-rising cantilevered roof form.
The home neither directly signifies its domesticity nor addresses the language of its suburban contact, and yet it cleverly responds to climate and to the broader context by addressing planning regulations.
More importantly, it realises the vision that the imperative to live in smaller more sustainable dwellings should not result in a compromise in spatial or formal expression.
